Purpose of this topic map:

This map aims to give a rough overview of the sub themes embraced by the term urban landscape. In the core you see the more tangible elements such as parks and gardens. You may start building up your case study from there if you would like to deal with a design project. Around the core you find increasingly strategic and planning-oriented topics. Throughout the seminar, we will always come back to this topic map and discuss in how far your case study relates to other sub themes of the urban landscape. We will start with a first introduction of themes and you will be asked to localise your case study on this map.
