Comparative Analysis

Tartu 1 on Nürtingen 3:

Both projects are former industrial mining areas that have been given new function. The scales are complitely different. Ideas behind development have similar characteristics: to regain use of former industrial landscapes with the respect to their history. In both projects not only the landscape is envolved but also cultural and social aspects of the region are considered.
