Rationale: Why is this case interesting?

The commercial building "BGMEA" has been standing illegally in the middle of Hatirjheel lake, obstructing the water flow, as well as creating visual and aesthetic disturbance.I would like to attempt for a design solution to make the site more interactive with public and nature, without completely demolishing the building,to ensure the continuum of the urban-public characteristics of the rest of the lake.
