The core of the local urban green infrastructure is represented by a linear green space in the central part of the historic streetscape in the town centre. This site has a unique spatial quality & historic legacy as it relates to urban design of the High Middle Ages represented by villages with "a common", also called "Green Village" according to W.G. Hoskins (1955). In German literature this kind of middle-age urban structures are called "Anger", while in Slovak and Czech literature "náves". © Attila Toth 2013
