Damghan Cheshmeh-Ali: File:DSCF9468 (1440x1080).jpg Cheshmeh-ye Ali (Persian: چشمه علي‎, also Romanized as Cheshmeh-ye ‘Alī)[1] is a village in Rudbar Rural District, in the Central District of Damghan County, Semnan Province, Iran. This is one of the permanent springs in Damghan, 30 km north of the city. Thanks to its verdant foliage and pleasant climate this region has been frequented by people from ancient times. During the Qajar period (1785 to 1925)many buildings were constructed in Cheshmeh Ali among which the Agha Mohammad Khan (1742–1797‎)‎ and Fat'hali Shah palaces still stand erect.
