The life of plant
These are three plants attached to the building wall, which are in three different positions in the University of Kassel. The three different life stages of plants show a changing landscape over time.
Even when the plants die, the body is still been protected as a valuable landscape. Just like autumn leaves and dead trees in the winter are still appreciated by people.The landscape which can refly the inherent nature are the cherish landscape.

This is a non-physical landscape. Precisely for the cultural information carried by the non-physical landscape make the surrounding physical landscape into a vibrant landscape.
Landscape is a term which produced by the human beings, only the landsape meet the need (cultual \physical\...)of the human beings can be full of energy, and can be a landscape.
Stone and tree
The combination of trees and rocks can be seen everywhere in the natural landscape. In the artificial landscape, extract the elements and the relationship between rocks and trees, and widely applied, which forming a cognizable memory or symbol.
Prof.Stephen Kaplan in Michigan University surveys the landscape preferences of 30 people, which used the selected scenes in Australia, Canada, South Korea and Egypt. Everyone chose the natural landscape rather than the artificial landscape.Our most ancient instinct still influences our choice of the landscape. Just like Lawrence Halprin, the nature is an important source of landscape.
