Discussion

We as team decided to work on three individual concept maps and than merge them all together in one final version. The most detailed version of individual concept maps was chosen as basis and it was complemented by several concepts and linking phrases from two other individual concept maps. Although this method of creating a group concept map was rather time consuming we consider it to be successful as each of us could represent one`s individual perception and understanding of the topic. This approach showed that despite different educational and ethnic background we have rather similar understanding of concepts. However each initial version of concept maps contained some details that others did not therefore this way of collaboration greatly contributed to the completeness of the final version.
