	In 1918 the agriculture academy was placed in Wageningen. They chose Wageningen because this is a place where different landscapes come together. 			Besides large patches of grass, there are several ecological gardens. One of them is the garden behind Lumen which holds nutrient-poor vegetation in which Orchids and bats find a suitable home. The ponds and shrubs also provide shelter for birds. (2) Another one is the Dassenbos on the western border of the campus. It is more like the classical nature park with natural styled plantations and curved sanded paths. Plantations here have a wide range of species which provide a good habitat for birds and mammals . Magpies and pigeons are abundant in winters. Occasionally the great spotted woodpecker and the common kingfisher are spotted. (3) Besides the outdoor spaces the interior spaces also are full of nature. The designer intended to get the '''outside space''' and '''inside one''' more '''blur''' in order to get closer the distance between nature and human beings.

There is water flowing into basements, the open grass court is most times to wet to walk on, there is erosion in the few ditches and the bicycle paths are sometimes flooded with water. But it’s not a site for royalty it should be a place for students who need several human-scale spaces with functional facility.
