This is a detail of my garden. In Nice in the south of France. Its a small urban garden, on poor soil, in a hot, dry part of the world.
* ''Why did you select it?''
I chose it because the garden has to look after itself, without weeding or watering. The plants that survive were planted long ago. I have added a few, most of them died over the summers, but some of them love it there and are rampant.
* ''Is it exemplary for a specific theme or a problem?''
Its an example of a low maintenance garden - in a Mediterranean climate
* ''In how far does it relate to your life?''
Its my garden, although its a badly neglected one. Identifying and adding some more successful plants would be fun. Not a redesign, but an re-adaptation.

== Rationale: Why is this case interesting? ==

This is a detail of my garden. In Nice in the south of France. Its a small urban garden, on poor soil, in a hot, dry part of the world.

I chose it because I'm almost never there and the garden has to look after itself, without weeding or watering. The plants that survive were planted long ago. I have added a few.

Its an example of a low maintenance garden - in a Mediterranean climate

Its my garden, although its a badly neglected one. Redesigning the garden would be fun.
